IBS 2018 brought together more than 1,500 top manufacturers and suppliers from around the globe in 583,000 net square feet of exhibit space, showcasing the latest and most in-demand products and services.

Attendees toured the two official show homes. The New American Home (TNAH), located in the Bella Collina golf community on the outskirts of Orlando, is a stunning display of innovation that skillfully blends traditional and modern architecture to create a transitional design. The New American Remodel (TNAR), located outside of downtown Orlando, is a two-story, traditional-style home that demonstrates the countless possibilities of how a 1930s home can be transformed using today’s products and building techniques.

IBS 2018 offered the most up-to-date and innovative education the industry has to offer. The 2018 show featured sessions in eight tracks, taught by renowned building industry experts from across the country. With topics ranging from sales and marketing to construction and codes, there was literally something for everyone.

Fourteen pre-show courses were held before the start of IBS 2018. Pre-show courses gave participants the chance to increase their skill sets by delving deep into industry topics while earning NAHB CEUs.

Full registrants and 1-Day Education attendees had the option to participate in five Master sessions, 3-hour intensive programs that dig deep into specific industry topics.

IBS events, such as The House Party Sponsored by Chase, the Young Pro Party and the IBS Closing Spike Concert with Chicago, gave attendees the opportunity to network with other industry pros and have some fun too.

The Centrals were the place to get new ideas and information about your specific niche. Open to all IBS registrants, the Centrals were a hub for lively programs, demonstrations and hands-on workshops—set in an informal, relaxed setting. The Centrals featured some of the industry’s top professionals who are passionate about their area of expertise—so the discussions were always enthusiastic and entertaining!
